*China has introduced 72-hour (3-day) visa-free entry for tourists at Beijing Airport. US (and 44 other countries) citizens holding third country visas and onward flight tickets can apply for a transit without visa (TWOV). This would allow enough time to visit the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall of China without a Chinese visa.
Below is a long list of countries that holders of valid* US passports can travel to, either without a visa, where a visa on arrival will be issued for a fee, (possibly photos required) or where free entry is given for a fixed period. This list is intended as a guide.
For countries that DO require a visa, we suggest you contact the nearest embassy or consulate. Visa information is available online at PassportVisasExpress.com where you can select a country name and get full details of requirements or entry restrictions for anywhere in the world.
If you don't yet have your US passport, then application can take several weeks, not to mention the issue of any visas you may require.
Passport Visas Express can expedite visa applications for over 300 countries; they specialize in visa processing for China, Russia, Brazil, India, Nigeria and the UK and can also assist with other passport issues such as:
Application for a first or second US passport
Application for a UK (British) passport
US passport renewal
Replacement of lost or stolen passport
Extra US passport pages
Single or multiple visa applications for most countries
– within 24 hours if necessary.
* Passport Expiry Date
Many countries require your passport to
remain valid for several
months; allow at least six months validity
before you travel or apply for a visa. Also make sure your passport has
sufficient free pages for visas and entry/departure stamps. A single
country's visa
often takes up a whole page in your passport.
Are you a US Citizen with tax or financial issues? You are probably not responsible for getting yourself into a mess, but you are the only person who can get yourself out.
